Taiga Arctic Jacket TSUP has the same type of configuration that Taiga other field jackets. So when you must switch from winter to new area of operation you can place your own line of an equipment (such as survival cases, compasses, etc.) in the same places regardless of the climate in the new operation area.
The garment is built with a Gore-tex liner with a outer camouflage printed fabric. This construction works in very cold temperatures. The air pocket between the outer fabric and Gore-Tex membrane ensures that the membrane does not freeze, thus preventing that you get frost on the inside of the garment. Our personal experience with the Arctic Jacket goes down to - 42 degrees Celsius and then during snowmobiling outside Rensjön in Kiruna.
Closest to the body, we had Net shirt and on top of the Eagle Shirt and then a Thule sweater. The neck was reinforced with a thicker buff. On top of all this we had a shell garment Arctic Jacket TSUP. Finally, a vest on top of the whole system. Works great!
